This home sits on the top of the peak, surrounded by rock outcroppings. Great views of Mtn Evans. I found the floorplan very livable. I am usually not a big fan of split levels, but this home won me over. The main level had a good sized kitchen, living room, dining room, powder room and an office or a 5th bedroom. The upper level had the master bed/bath and 2 other bedrooms plus a full bath. The walk out basement had yet another bedroom, a full bath, and a family/rec room. The first thing I noticed (besides the views) was that the home was flooded with natural sunlight. Since it sat on top of the hill, it was pretty private considering there was only 1.25 acres. Lots of walk out areas onto decks and outdoor space.
The house could use some updating. Brass fixtures, door handles, older carpet. The kitchen had granite tile and stainless appliances. The cabinets could be salvaged, but a buyer may want a solid surface counter top. The bathrooms wouldn’t take too much to update either. Not much usable land because of the rock outcroppings and the fact that you are on top of the peak. Parking any large vehicles may also be a hindrance, and the driveway is very steep and narrow. There really isn’t any parking except for the 2 car garage. Buyers with any kind of camper or toys will not be able to have them here.
Price seems in line with the neighborhood for the views. This home would be listed in the mid 7’s if it had some updating done.
